Student of 7th Grade<\/a> Thanos Kyparos won the 3rd prize in the \u201cMuse International Music Competition\u201d, in category C (12 – 14 years old), violin. Talented musicians from 35 countries took part in the competition and the results were announced on 22 June, 2020.<\/p>\n The \u201cMuse International Music Competition\u201d has been running since 2002 and in 2014 a new online format with video recordings was introduced. During these 19 years, more than 2,500 musicians from 93 countries and 4 continents have taken part.<\/p>\n It is worth noting that this is Thanos\u2019s second major international award as, in February 2020, he won the 1st prize in the \u201cParis Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition\u201d (category 9 – 12 years old) and was selected to participate as a violin soloist in the Award Ceremony at the Amphith\u00e9\u00e2tre Paris Philharmonie, in Paris.<\/p>\n
