Beatles and Greek Kindergarten students<\/a> are! They were extremely excited to participate in the educational program \u201cMission X: Train Like an Astronaut\u201d, which is an international educational challenge. <\/p>\n\n\n\nFocusing on fitness and nutrition, our students were encouraged to train like actual astronauts. This fascinating program has been developed in cooperation with space scientists and fitness professionals working directly with astronauts. It must be noted that NASA’s \u201cTrain Like an Astronaut\u201d activities are a physical and inquiry-based approach to human health and fitness on Earth and in space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thus, we had an amazing time playing in our make-believe spaceships and even created our own space stations! We used our creativity and made our own unique helmets but also learned how craters are formed on the moon by conducting a STREAM experiment with flour and marbles. Apart from the scientific knowledge acquired and creativity used, our movement skills, coordination, and speed were developed as this program was also incorporated into our P.E classes. We are sure that our students will never forget this wonderful experience!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
