1 gold and 4 bronze medals at the 35th National Mathematical Olympiad “Archimedes”

We warmly congratulate the 5 Junior-Senior High School students, who won 1 gold and 4 bronze medals in the final phase of the 35th National Mathematical Olympiad “Archimedes” of the Hellenic Mathematical Society, and their 22 classmates that took part in the competition.

The awards are:

1st Place – Gold Medal R. Tsiamis 12th Grade
3rd Place – Bronze Medal Ch. Alvanos 10th Grade
3rd Place – Bronze Medal I. Dimoulios   9th Grade
3rd Place – Bronze Medal A. Georgiadis   9th Grade
3rd Place – Bronze Medal Ch. Karafyllia   9th Grade

The 22 students that took part in the final phase of the 35th National Mathematical Olympiad “Archimedes” were:

Senior High School: D. Vasiliadis, G. Kapalis – Prousalis, K. Koutroulis, N. Konstantinidou, P. Loumi, S. Mastoris, Th. – A. Billas, Th. Iconomou, O. Pliaridis, A. Ch. Savva, A. Skenderis, A. – R. Spyropoulou, P. Chalimourdas.

It is worth mentioning that 70 students of the Schools were distinguished in the 1st phase of “Thales“, while the 2nd phase, “Euclid“, included 27 Mandoulides Schools students.

HAEF Athens College 6 Medals: 2 Gold, 1 Silver, 3 Bronze
Mandoulides Schools 5 Medals: 1 Gold, 4 Bronze
Polytropi Armonia 2 Medals: 1 Silver, 1 Bronze
