Messy Play

Students: Day Care – Kindergarten

Messy Play is sensory and free play! Using simple materials, all senses are activated. Messy play has no rules and no restrictions. There is no right and wrong way to play. It has no predetermined purpose and does not necessarily produce a finished product or outcome.

The goal is for the child to have fun, to feel free, to have experiences that give them pleasure and confidence, to explore the material world by touching, seeing, smelling and hearing. Thus, using natural materials, he can get dirty and “create” whatever his imagination commands, without directions and interventions, without limitations by the concepts of right and wrong, as there is no final result, but only that of joy and creation.

What Messy Play offers children

  • Cognitive Development
  • Motor Development
  • Social & Emotional Development
  • Communication & Language Development
  • Creative Development
