A beautiful surprise awaited the students of Kindergarten and first- and second-grade of the Elementary School at Mandoulides Schools on Monday, October 20th. The school opened its doors to warmly welcome the beloved grandparents to a special event filled with love, warmth, and nostalgia.
For more than two hours, the grandparents were guided by their grandchildren through the school grounds. They entered the classrooms, met the teachers, sat at the little desks, and, with great emotion, recalled their own childhood school days.
The children, full of enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility, took part with their grandparents in a variety of activities — they sang, took photographs together,
shared stories, thoughts, and feelings. Two different generations met and shared precious moments from school life, bridging the past with the present.
Later, everyone attended a talk by Mrs. E. Panagopoulou titled “The Modern Grandfather, the Modern Grandmother, and Their Role in Children’s Upbringing.”
Through this special celebration, our students found a heartfelt way to express their love and gratitude to those who are always by their side — who listen, support, and understand them, who are always ready to offer a warm embrace.
Grandpa and Grandma, we love you very much!
