1st, 2nd & 3rd Prize in the American Mathematics Contest 8 (AMC 8) of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA)
Our students have received distinctive awards in the AMC 8 Contest of the Mathematical Association of America.
The following students were awarded:
- 1st Award: P. – P. Nikou (8th Grade)
- 2nd Award – E. Konstantinidou (8th Grade)
- 3rd Award: T. Konstantinidis (8th Grade)
- 3rd Award: D – M. Marelas (7th Grade)
This is the 10th consecutive year that Mandoulides Schools have taken part in the AMC Contest, which took place on Friday, 13 November 2020. Due to COVID-19 related public health measures, the contest was carried out online through the use of the MS Teams and MS Forms applications. Thirty-seven Mandoulides Schools students took part in the competition, where they had to answer 25 multiple choice questions within 40’.
