1st Cultural Excursion for Junior and Senior High School

On Tuesday, November 5, the 1st Cultural Excursion took place for students in the 7th, 8th, 9th,10th and 11th grades. Participating students had the opportunity to take part in excursions that included sports activities and guided tours through the city center and museums, following a guided program.

More specifically,

  • The 7th-grade students went on an environmental excursion to Lefkochori, where they had the opportunity to try horseback riding, archery, and shooting.
  • The 8th and 9th grade students enjoyed a day of sports at the Avant Garde Sports Club, where they had the opportunity to play tennis, ping-pong, football, basketball, beach volleyball, and beach handball.
  • The 10th-grade students toured the historic streets of Thessaloniki, a city with a rich and continuous history from Roman times to the recent past. Key points of interest included the Rotunda, Kamara, the Church of Agia Sofia, Aristotelous Square, and the Flower Market.
  • The 11th-grade students visited the “Museum of Illusions”, a unique museum combining fun, interactivity, and education, challenging perceptions with imaginative optical illusions and fostering creativity among visitors.
