This year, the 4thgrade students of E. Mandoulides Schools gave adults a unique history lesson. They honored the heroes of 1940 and the Greek flag, while also celebrating the liberation of Thessaloniki and its patron, Saint Demetrius. Above all, they emphasized the message of peace to both young and old, reminding everyone how valuable peace is and how important it is never to take it for granted.
