High School students from our school participated in the 57th The Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUN) Conference, held at the World Forum International Conference Center in The Hague.
During the conference, student delegates analyzed global issues following the United Nations’ framework and negotiated the signing of resolutions, the final versions of which are sent to the official UN delegation. Among other topics, the main theme and key area of discussion at the conference was artificial intelligence and its impact on human daily life.
As part of the conference, our students visited museums and art galleries (Van Gogh Museum, Mauritshuis), while they had the opportunity to tour the International Court of Justice in The Hague.
The conference proceedings concluded with great enthusiasm, and it should be noted that our students’ participation in their chosen committees was remarkable.
