As part of the Skills Labs program, we continued our project titled “Thermaic Gulf: Clean waters are everyone’s responsibility!” which falls under the third thematic axis “We take care of the environment: Ecology – Global & Local Natural Heritage”.
With a strong sense of responsibility, the 1st-grade students and the FLL team of our School actively participated in the coastal cleanup of Florida (Apollonia Polteia) in collaboration with the environmental organization iSea. Through this event, the children learned the importance of personal responsibility and the collective effort in protecting the marine environment.
Additionally, as part of the program, students prepare materials for the creation of a stop motion film, capturing the journey of the sea through their own creative perspective!
