Celebrating March 25th

Listen to this article

Today, we celebrate a very important day for our country, March 25th! This day reminds us all of the beginning of the Greek War of Independence in 1821 when the Greeks fought for their freedom.

To honor this occasion, we learned about the heroes who fought and listened to many historical events of the time. We held commemorative celebrations in our classrooms, with younger students as our audience, had fun with traditional songs and dances, and, as proud Greek children, marched in a parade!

Long Live March 25, 1821!
