Discovering the World through Maps!

Listen to this article

The 3rd-grade students had the opportunity to explore the world of cartography through the educational program “Learning to read and use maps” at the Archive of Cartographic Heritage.

Through experiential activities, the students learned how maps are created, how to read geographical information, and how people depicted the Earth in the past. With great enthusiasm, they designed their own maps, discovering the importance of orientation and mapping in our daily lives.

An educational experience that broadened their horizons in imagination and knowledge!
