If the Music teacher took the student’s place, then who stepped into the role of the teacher? The 3rd-grade students, of course! On Wednesday, April 10, we experienced a unique Music lesson, where notes mixed together to create a unique “recipe” of knowledge and discovery. The children’s voice sfilled the space, bringing it to life with energy and joy.
But this wasn’t just any lesson… We explored the world of orchestras, musical ensembles, and chords. We learned about eighth notes and … monsters! Or were they quarter notes? One thing is certain: we discovered the power of music as a universal means of communication, capable of bringing people together, just like laughter!
The event began with the school choir, filling the room with songs by Mikis Theodorakis and Manos Hadjidakis, honoring the 100th anniversary of their birth, setting a harmonious, heart warming tone for the rest of the day.
