With great joy and enthusiasm, the 2nd and 3rd-grade students had the opportunity to attend the presentation of the book Tony’s Dream at the School’s Cultural and Sports Center. The event featured the book’s author, Paralympian and athlete Antonis Tsapatakis. Last year, these students enjoyed the theatrical adaptation of the book and were deeply moved by its powerful messages.
Written by Antonis Tsapatakis and Elena Thoidou, Tony’s Dream conveys inspiring messages to both children and adults about self-belief, overcoming inner fears, and finding the strength to move forward with courage and determination, despite life’s challenges. Through Tony’s story, the authors teach us that dedication, perseverance, and self-love can lead to personal success and fulfillment.
The students actively participated by asking questions, sharing their thoughts, and singing lyrics inspired by the book. With the guidance of Antonis Tsapatakis and Elena Thoidou, they realized that dreams and ambitions have no limts – anything is possible as long as we believe in ourselves and persist with courage.
This experience was a valuable opportunity for the children to understand that their dreams and aspirations can come true, no matter the challenges they may face in life.
