The team from our Educational Institution, “PILL NOW”, successfully advanced to the national Top 10 in the “NextGen Innovators” competition — the 5th Panhellenic Student Youth Entrepreneurship Competition focused on Sustainable Development, organized by Envolve Entrepreneurship.

The members of the student team are: I.-L. Vergou, E. Drakonaki, E. – F. Pistofidi, M. Sardeli, A. Sklavou, I. Skarlis, R. Hatziriga, P. Troulinou (9th grade), and thanks to the significant contribution of S. Mavridi (10th Grade).
The students designed the “PILL NOW” device — an intelligent medication reminder device aimed at elderly individuals and patients with complex treatment regimens. The device integrates LED visual alerts, a buzzer for sound notifications, a screen displaying the medication name, and Braille writing. Through Bluetooth connectivity and a corresponding mobile app, users can program medication times and enable remote monitoring by relatives or caregivers.

Its modular design allows for full customization based on each user’s needs. This innovative solution helps prevent medication errors, offering safety, precision, and peace of mind regarding proper medication intake.
