As part of the 17th Student Program on Informatics, 10 Junior High School students successfully created and presented 3 original projects to the Scientific Committee of the conference, showcasing their skills in robot programming, website development, and the exploration of new trends in Artificial Intelligence. The presentation took place on Tuesday, April 8 at the NOESIS Planetarium.
More specifically, the projects presented were:
- Theta Robot: Maze Solving (Field: Robotics)
- AI or Real Photos: Training Users to Detect Fake Photos (Field: Artificial Intelligence)
- School Connect: Digital Student Community (Field: Computers).
The students who participated respectively in each project were:
- A. Karamanou, M. Chatzisavva, A. Nedeltsidis (9th grade)
- D. Giandikidou, M. Papagianni, A. Tzimka, A. Kourtesi, E. Tzimka (7th and 8th grade)
- Ch. Lemonas, M. Sardeli (9th grade)
As every year, E. Mandoulides Schools participated in the Informatics Conference with student projects developed as part of the School’s Informatics and Technology curriculum.
