World Mental Health Day by Grade 4

Listen to this article

The 4th Grade of E. Mantoulides Schools, inspired by World Mental Health Day, learned what it means to feel good about ourselves and those around us. We talked about both negative and positive emotions, which change from day to day. We learned to recognize them and to transform negative feelings into positive ones. Each student wrote their emotions—ranging from difficult to joyful—on paper leaves! All the leaves were then joined together to create an “Emotion Tree”, a symbol of our inner growth and the importance of taking care of our mental well-being every single day!
