The students of Grade 2 visited the Center for Rehabilitation, Social Support, and Creative Activities for People with Disabilities “O Sotir.”

In a particularly welcoming and beautiful environment in Nea Kallikrateia, Halkidiki, the children enthusiastically took part in environmental education activities and games. Through hands-on experiences, they deepened their understanding of concepts and terms they had learned in class, while joyfully observing the autumn colors and the changes in nature reflected in the trees and plants.

Following the “Green Route” through the botanical garden of the Center, they played environmental games, explored nature up close, and discovered its little treasures. All the children left filled with joy, gifts, and hopes for a better and more sustainable future.

Their experience became even more special thanks to the active participation of the students from the “O Sotir” Center, who organized workshops where they worked harmoniously with the young visitors to prepare aromatic salt. Together, they felt like one big united team, bringing to life values such as inclusion, respect, and acceptance.

Activities like this remind us that in today’s world there is no room for discrimination in the fundamental right to life. Because, ultimately, in life there are no categories of people — there are only people.
