The little knight teaches us that diversity is strength!

On the occasion of World Food Day, the students of Grades 1 and 2 had the pleasure of meeting the author Hero Psifidou and her book “The Knight Ioannis, Little Giannakis” at the Educational Center of the School.
Through the touching story of the young hero, who faces a food allergy, the children were transported into a world where diversity becomes strength and understanding, a shield of protection.

Giannakis, with his courage, learns to face difficulties bravely, supported by his family and his school. Two different worlds – that of knowledge and that of love – unite in a shared journey of responsibility, acceptance, and compassion.

The author spoke to the children in a simple, warm, and vivid way about food allergies, the importance of care, and mutual support. With imagination and sensitivity, she managed to turn a challenging subject into a celebration of understanding and friendship.

The meeting concluded with smiles, questions, and games inspired by the little knight, leaving the children with the message that every difference is a treasure worth embracing. It was, without a doubt, a special encounter filled with smiles, stories, and messages of acceptance from author Hero Psifidou.
