On Wednesday, October 22nd, the preschoolers went on a very interesting educational visit to the War Museum of Thessaloniki, on the occasion of the anniversary of October 28th, 1940.
Upon arriving at the museum, we were welcomed by the staff, who guided us through its various sections. The children listened attentively to a presentation about the history of the 1940—a topic we had already discussed at school—and had the chance to see up close uniforms, old weapons, maps, and photographs. They were especially impressed by the real warplanes and vehicles located in the museum’s outdoor area.
We returned to kindergarten happy, filled with many images and experiences to share!
