On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, the High School Environmental Team visited the Center for People with Disabilities “Sotir.” There, the students were informed by the staff about the purpose of the Foundation and its activities, while they also had the opportunity to meet and talk with members of the Foundation. Finally, the Environmental Team handed over to the staff of the “Sotir” Center a heavy-duty wheelchair, which was purchased from the proceeds of selling approximately one ton of plastic bottle caps. This is the fourth wheelchair that our Schools have acquired in this way (the other three have been donated to Papageorgiou Hospital and Hippocrates Hospital), combining care for the environment with social sensitivity.
We encourage you to continue disposing of plastic bottle caps in the special bins located in the classrooms and corridors of our school, so that we can carry out such beautiful gestures in the future as well.
