On Wednesday, 18 February 2026, an Open Day event was held at the theatre of Mandoulides Schools with the aim of informing parents about the smooth transition of kindergarten pupils to Year 1 of Primary School.
The event opened with a warm welcome by Ms. Hasioti, the Schools’ General Academic Director, who presented the philosophy and educational work of the school. At the same time, she shared with parents international concerns and contemporary challenges in the field of education. Through an open and meaningful dialogue, parents had the opportunity to express their expectations and thoughts regarding Primary School.
Following this, psychologist Olga Zikopoulou discussed the emotional and psychosocial preparation of children for their transition to the new educational level, offering practical guidance and responding to parents’ questions.
Finally, Ms. Papadopoulou, Head of Year 1 and Deputy Head of the Primary School, presented in detail the Year 1 curriculum, the teaching practices applied, and the students’ daily school experience, while also addressing individual questions.
The event concluded in an atmosphere of trust and cooperation, strengthening the connection between school and family and highlighting the importance of joint effort in ensuring a smooth and positive transition for children to the new educational stage.
