Four student teams from Mandoulides Schools were distinguished in the International Mathematics Competition “PurpleComet! MathMeet,” which was held online at the Schools on Thursday, April 23, 2026.
The teams that received distinctions are:

1st place in Greece: Mandoulides Schools – Team 3: A. Papoutsis (8th Grade), Ch. Stergiopoulos (8th Grade), A. Konstantinou (8th Grade), D. Charalampidis (8th Grade), G. Diamantidis (8th Grade)
2nd place in Greece: Mandoulides Schools – Team 4: I. Angel (7th Grade), E. Vergos (7th Grade), O. Papaventsis (7th Grade), A. Sapidou (7th Grade), K. Mylonakou (7th Grade), I. Deves (7th Grade)
High School Category
1st place in Greece: Mandoulides Schools – Team 2: G. Delis (10th Grade), V. Delis (10th Grade), O. Gritsios (10th Grade), Ch. Chalkiotis (10th Grade)
2nd place in Greece: Mandoulides Schools – Team 5: I. Karatzoglou (9th Grade), K. Marela (9th Grade), A. Maskalidis (9th Grade)
A total of 4,804 teams from 86 countries registered for the competition.
