On the occasion of World Environment Day and as part of our Interdisciplinary Week, the students of the 3rd and 4th Grades explored Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action.
Through interactive presentations, discussions, videos, games, books, and hands-on activities, they learned about climate change, its causes, and its consequences. At the same time, they explored ways in which they can contribute to protecting the environment, highlighting the importance of recycling.
Inspired by the slogans “Taking Action for a Changing Climate!” and “Don’t Throw the Earth Away!”, the students created awareness posters, shared their own eco-friendly pledges, and made crafts using reusable materials.
In this way, they put the principle “Reduce – Reuse – Recycle” into practice, sending the message that protecting our planet begins with the small actions we take every day.
