Α firefighter visited the young students of the Daycare Center as part of the thematic unit “Getting to know Professions”. The firefighter had the opportunity to talk to the students about the important work of the Fire Department. He explained how firefighters help protect society from fires and other dangerous situations.
At the same time, he shared valuable safety tips on what to do in case of a fire, emphasizing the importance of knowing how to prevent hazardous situations, react, and which emergency number to call for help (112).
The children had the opportunity to learn about firefighters’ duties and understand the importance of following basic safety rules in their daily lives to prevent accidents.
