A ton of plastic bottle caps from elementary and junior – senior high school for the purchase of a wheelchair

Elementary and junior – senior high school students collected more than one ton of plastic bottle caps during school year 2018 – 2019. The caps have been gathered in special bins in the form of bottles that were placed around the school premises. They will then be sold to DION and the money from their sale will be used for the purchase of a wheelchair, which will be donated to General Hospital “G. Papanikolaou”.

The collection of caps at Mandoulides Schools was made possible with courtesy of Rainbow Water and of course it will continue next year. We would like to remind you that you can donate plastic caps not only from bottles of water but also from juice and milk cartons, detergents, etc. It is not only students but also parents who are called to go on donating their caps, knowing that they eventually do this for a good cause.
