The Schools hosted the theatrical group of the Municipal Theater of Kozani who presented the play “Reach as High as you Can’t”. It is a production based on texts by Nikos Kazantzakis and forms part of the “Kazantzakis Year” celebration on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of his death. The show aimed at bringing together junior and senior high school students with the work of the great literary writer and the great ideas he deals with in his works, which focus on the search of relationships between his life and work and the perpetual pursuit of freedom.
The play was directed by Christina Chatzivasileiou, director and award-winning playwright, Ph.D. of the Department of Theater of the School of Fine Arts, AUTH.
