As part of the “Book Clubs” program, the 4th Grade warmly welcomed the author Konstantina Armeniakou. The occasion was the book “Myths of Water” by Efthymia Andrioti and Konstantina Armeniakou (Kalentis Publications), a fascinating collection of myths, legends, and traditions that takes readers on a journey to every corner of the world.

The students, who had already come to love the book, talked with the author about how a story is born and pleasantly surprised her with a riddle game they had prepared themselves. Mrs. Armeniakou’s warm and highly interactive approach turned the book presentation into a lively exchange of ideas and an experiential introduction to the magic of myths and the element of water.

In fact, the book inspired the young readers to become authors themselves, creating their own original myths about water. The children’s works were collected in a printed “edition,” which they lovingly offered to the author, while their effort is also presented in full in a digital e-book.

This experiential activity highlighted the joy of collective creativity and the power of fostering a love of reading.
