With great joy, the 3rd grade students welcomed the author Evi Gerokosta to a warm and creative meeting filled with imagination, words, and inspiration.
The children had the opportunity to talk with her and ask questions about the profession of writing, the process of creative writing, and the power of imagination. With simplicity and enthusiasm, the author shared her thoughts and experiences from her writing journey, spoke about her characters, and encouraged us to believe in our ideas.
The meeting also included a lovely surprise. The students presented her with a special book they had created themselves, which included all their projects and creations inspired by the book “The Apricot Tree That Grew Inside a Red High-Heeled Shoe” by Christos Boulotis. Texts, drawings, and original ideas came together in a collective work full of imagination and love for reading.
