The team from E. Mandoulides Schools won the bronze medal at the 6th Panhellenic ΙYNT Competition (Hellenic Young Naturalist Tournament), organized by the Union of Greek Physicists. The competition took place from April 13 to 15 in Thessaloniki, with the participation of 30 teams from across Greece and abroad.
More specifically, the students who formed the “Fusion Force” team of E. Mandoulides Schools were:
B. Delis, G. Delis, Ch. Chalkiotis (9th grade), N. Migiaki (10th grade), and L. Toumanidis (8th grade)
The IYNT is a competition in which students are called to tackle complex problems in physics, chemistry, and biology, based on original laboratory experiments, and must then successfully defend their scientific arguments against opposing teams.
