We congratulate Nefeli Konstantinidou (11th Grade) on winning the bronze medal in the 30th International Biology Olympiad (IBO), which was held in Szeged, Hungary, from 14 to 21 July, 2019.
Nefeli Konstantinidou qualified for the Greek National Team after having ranked 3rd in the Panhellenic Biology Competition in the previous school year, where she competed with students of 11th and mainly of 12th Grade.
It is worth noting that her elder sister Irini Konstantinidou, who also attended Mandoulides Schools, took part in IBO 2013 and won an honorable mention. The four-member Greek national team had a very good overall performance, as all its members excelled winning a silver medal (G. Christodoulou), two bronze medals (Nefeli Konstantinidou, G. Stouras) and an honorable mention (D. Theou).
Heartfelt congratulations to our student and all the members of the Greek delegation who proved once more that love for biology and hard work can yield unique results!
