Within the framework of the program Diet Day “Mediterranean Land,” which was launched this year, 8th grade students of the Schools prepared an interdisciplinary project involving the lessons of Home Economics and Art. Each class undertook one topic (olive, life cycle of wheat, honey, pesticides in our food). The students worked in groups during the year and created challenging projects, designed diet charts, visited beekeeping units and Thessaloniki’s TEI. Each class presented their project, once it was finished, to all Junior – Senior High School grades.
