On Wednesday, February 15, 2017 Mandoulides Schools participated for the sixth consecutive year in the competitions AMC 10B and AMC 12B of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA). 23 students of the 9th and 10th Grade took part in the AMC 10B competition and 12 students of the 11th and 12th Grade in the AMC 12B competition. Students competed in 25 multiple choice questions in 75 minutes.

2nd place P. Kesopoulos (9th Grade)
3rd place G. Michailidis (10th Grade)
AMC 12B competition:
1st place R. Tsiamis (11th Grade)
2nd place V. Georgiadis (12th Grade)
3rd place P. Diamantis (11th Grade)
Student R. Tsiamis qualified for the next phase of the competition, American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME), which will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Mandoulides Schools, because he gained a score of over 100 points.
