On Saturday, May 31st, the E. Mantoulides Schools organized a special event at Skala Gorge, in Zagkliveri. It was a day full of nature, adventure, and smiles, attended by parents and their children, guided by the school’s physical education teacher.
The excursion was organized by the school with the goal of strengthening the bond between parents and children, discovering the magic of nature together, and exploring beautiful places located close to our city.
The program included a two-and-a-half-hour hike along the lush green trail of the gorge. The route was enchanting: tall plane trees, flowing waters, waterfalls, and a natural environment that embraced us at every step. The sights and sounds of the landscape filled everyone with joy and wonder.
Along the way, we passed many impressive waterfalls, and toward the end, the more daring children even took a dip in the icy waters of the gorge’s main waterfall—an experience they will remember for a long time!
The weather was on our side, and nature offered us the perfect setting for a wonderful day. It was a beautiful way to bid farewell to spring and close the school year in the best possible way—with smiles, adventure, and meaningful moments of connection with nature and our loved ones.
