First Place in Greece in the Archimedes Math Competition – 2 Gold, 3 Silver, and 2 Bronze Medals

High School students from E. Mandoulides Schools won a total of 7 medals – 2 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze – in the final stage of the “Archimedes” competition of the 42nd National Mathematical Olympiad, organized by the Hellenic Mathematical Society (HMS). This achievement placed E. Mandoulides Schools in the 1st place nationwide.
We congratulate the 7 distinguished students, as well as their 41 fellow students who also reached the finals.
Distinctions in the 42nd National Mathematical Olympiad “Archimedes”
Gold Medal: L. Karageorgiou 11th grade
Gold Medal: E. Giouvanopoulos 8th grade
Silver Medal: I. Zachou 11th grade
Silver Medal: T. Konstantinidis 12th grade
Silver Medal: O.-K. Papaventsis 6th grade (competed at Junior High School level)
Bronze Medal: P.-P. Nikou 12th grade
Bronze Medal: V. Delis 9th grade

11th-grade student I. Zahou has been selected to join the Greek National Team that will represent Greece in the 14th European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO 2025), which will take place from Friday, April 11, to Thursday, April 17, 2025, in Pristina, Kosovo.
