The innovative program of the Day Care Program, named “I Care for and Protect the Environment I Live In,” was implemented with the aim of raising awareness among our young students about nature and the environment through experiential and creative activities. The central theme of the program was the four seasons of the year and Father Time, who helped the children understand how time passes, the seasons, the months, weather conditions, and changes in nature.

The children observed, experimented, discussed, and actively participated in activities that enhanced their imagination and cooperation. Through crafts using natural and recyclable materials, they created the tree of the four seasons, creatively depicting the characteristics of each season. At the same time, they sang, danced, and moved to the musical composition The Four Seasons by Vivaldi, fostering their musical-motor development and emotional expression.

The program strengthened the children’s ecological awareness, as well as their love and respect for the environment, promoting values such as empathy, responsibility, and the joy of participation. Through play and experiential learning, the children became young active citizens, learning about the environment and nature and how to protect them.
