Mantoulidis Schools participated once again this year in the educational program “Youth Parliament: Steps of Democracy – Searching for the Limits” organised by the Hellenic Parliament Foundation for Parliamentarism and Democracy, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, for the 2024-2025 school year.
The program is addressed to students of General and Vocational High Schools across the country. Its main goals are to familiarise teenagers with the principles and values of democracy, to teach them how Parliament operates and what its role is, to train them in democratic practices, and to activate their engagement with issues concerning their school, community, and society.
For the 2024-2025 school year, the central theme of the program was: “Searching for the Limits.” Nineteen students from the first and second grades of high school participated in the program. Upon its completion, a lottery was held, and student I. Pagonis (2nd grade of Lyceum) was selected to represent our school at the 29th Session of the Youth Parliament, which took place in Athens, at the Hellenic Parliament, from July 7 to 10, 2025.
