In the AMC 10 and AMC 12 competitions of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA) conducted on Tuesday, February 3rd in which approximately 136,000 students and 2,500 schools from all over the world participate each year, the following students were distinguished:

Specifically, 9th grade student P. Diamantis, 10th grade students C. Ioannidis, P. Koutsogeorgos, and C. Karathodoros, and 12th grade students F. – I. Sytilidis and G. Venizelos qualified to the next stage of the competition, which is the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME). Students P. Diamantis, C. Ioannidis, P. Koutsogeorgos, and C. Karathodoros placed in the top 2.5% of participants in the AMC 10 contest and students F. – I. Sytilidis and G. Venizelos in the top 5% of participants in the AMC 12 contest.
