Narration of fairytales by grandpas and grandmas at the Day Care Center

“Once upon a time, there was a little girl who lived in a faraway place. Her name was Little Red Riding Hood …”

This is how one of children’s all-time favorite fairytales begins. The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats, the Three Little Pigs, the Ugly Duckling and so many more fairy tales have a special place in our hearts. And as we are still children, we need someone to narrate them to us. We coudn’t think of any better option than our grandmas and grandpas!

Faithful to customs and traditions, Mandoulides Schools invited the grandparents of Day Care Center students to visit their grandchildren’s classes and narrate fairytales of their liking. We were all enchanted by their stories of fairies and elves, giants and magical objects. And when the fairytales were over, we all said … “and they lived happily ever after”.
