National Distinction for Students in the Informatics and Computational Thinking Competition

Several 7th and 8th grade Mandoulides Schools students achieved national distinction in the Student Competition Kastoras – Bebras GR 2025–2026. The Kastoras – Bebras competition is an internationally recognized educational initiative that aims to develop students’ computational thinking and algorithmic reasoning through original problemsolving challenges and activities. It is held annually in many countries and is addressed to students of various educational levels, promoting a creative approach to Informatics and cultivating skills in analysis, strategic thinking, and solving complex problems. 

According to the official competition results, national distinction is awarded to students who achieved a total score of 104 points or higher, demonstrating outstanding performance in the demanding tasks of the competition.
