On the occasion of the global celebration of Safer Internet Day, students of Grades 1, 2 and 3 participated in awareness-raising activities aimed at informing and sensitizing them about safe and responsible internet use.
More specifically, the children attended the online seminar organized by SaferInternet4Kids.gr and, through guided discussion and the use of educational audiovisual material, became familiar with the basic principles of safe internet use. At the same time, they were introduced to the concept of a “digital footprint” and developed an understanding of the importance of protecting personal data, as well as demonstrating courtesy, respect, and responsibility in online communication.
This initiative forms part of the school’s ongoing educational efforts to cultivate responsible and informed future digital citizens, capable of using technology safely, with critical thinking and ethical awareness.
