Students from our School achieved significant distinctions in the First Phase of the Panhellenic Biology Competition for 11th grade (B’ Lyceum).

Specifically, A. Saliakelli and Th. Papagiotopoulos secured 5th and 8th place respectively, thus advancing to the Second Phase of the Competition, which will take place on Holy Monday, April 14, at the Department of Biology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). Alternatively, our students have earned the right to directly enter the Second Phase of next school year’s competition, as 12th grade (C’ Lyceum) students.

It is worth noting that these students had also achieved outstanding rankings in the 2024 Panhellenic Biology Competition for 10th grade (A’ Lyceum), which consists of a single phase.

The Panhellenic Student Biology Competition is organized by the Panhellenic Association of Bioscientists (PEV) and conducted in collaboration with the International Biology Olympiad (IBO), aiming to select talented students across the country who are interested in and engaged with Biology. At the same time, it offers students the opportunity to test their knowledge, enrich their experiences, and potentially participate in the International Biology Olympiads.

We wish them the best of luck, whichever path they choose to continue on in the Panhellenic Biology Competition!
