On October 16, for World Food Day, the 2nd grade students of E. Mandoulides Schools set up a rich table with healthy treats in the school’s yard.
As part of the Nutree program and the school’s initiatives to promote healthy eating habits, the students organized a special picnic with tasty, nutritious treats, sending a message to both young and old that only by eating smart and healthy can we build a strong body.
Through their example, the 2nd graders emphasized that today, more than ever, we should pay attention to our diets, carefully choosing the foods we consume daily and avoiding the unhealthy snacks that surround us.
