A big surprise awaitedon Saturday, November 2, when students from the Day Center, Kindergarten, and 1st and 2nd grades elementary at E. Mandoulides Schools prepared a special celebration for Grandparents Day. The school opened its doors, and the childrenwelcomed their grandparents to an event, filled with love, warmth, and nostalgia.
For more than two hours, grandparents were guided by theirgrandchildrenthrough the school, visiting classrooms, meeting teachers, and even sittingat theirgrandchildren’s desks. Many were moved as they remembered their own childhood and school days. The young students, full of enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility, joined their grandparents in various activities. Together, they sang, danced, took photos, played traditional games, told stories, created original crafts, and shared thoughts and feelings. In short, they managed to bring two generations together, sharing moments from their school life.
Our studentschose this special way to send love to those who are always there for them – those wholisten, understand, and support them, readywith a warm hug whenever it’s needed.
Grandpa and grandma, we love you very much!!
