We congratulate our student and violin soloist, Christina Mavridou ΄25, who has been accepted into top universities and music institutions in the USA and Europe.
- The Zurich University of the Arts “Zürcher Hochschule der Künste” (ZHdK) in the Music Department, one of Europe’s leading music schools, she secured one of only two available spots in the Bachelor in Violin Performance program.
- The “New England Conservatory” (NEC) in Boston (USA), the oldest independent music school in the USA, she was admitted to the Bachelor in Violin Performance program.
- The world-renowned “Juilliard School” in New York City (USA), she distinguished herself among the top international applicants, earning a place on the waiting list, which includes fewer than 10 candidates selected for the Bachelor in Violin Performance program.
Also, she will represent Greece in the Summer Tour 2025 of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO), under the baton of two acclaimed conductors, Ivan Fischer and Vasily Petrenko.
