4 students from the Educational Institutions achieved outstanding successes at the 13th Student Public Speaking Meeting in French – Conseil des Jeunes Citoyens, which took place on Saturday, March 7, at Collège De La Salle.
Specifically, students A. Sarafi (1st Year Lyceum – Société) and A. Blouka (2nd Year Gymnasium – École) won 1st place (Prix Jeune Citoyen award) and student E. Despiniadou (3rd Year Gymnasium – Société) won 2nd place (Prix Jeune Orateur award) in the finals of the Prepared – Impromptu Speech category.
In the Double – Persuasive Speech (Debat) event, student S. Tsochatzidou (2nd Year Lyceum – Solidarité) won 3rd place (Prix de Mérite award).
The competition, which was conducted entirely in French, was organized by Collège De La Salle with the participation of 200 students from public and private schools from all over Greece, such as the American College of Anatolia, Arsakeio Gymnasium – Lyceum Thessaloniki, Hellenic-French School Kalamari, Collège De La Salle, Isotimo College Athens, Hellenic-French School Saint – Paul Piraeus, Hellenic-French Ursuline School, Leonteios School Athens, Leonteios School N. Smyrni, Model Lyceum of Zosimaia School Ioannina, etc.
The competition also included students D. Maragkozi (3rd Year Gymnasium) and A. Chatzopoulou (1st Year Lyceum), who competed in the Prepared – Impromptu Speech event, as well as student A. Zervoudaki (2nd Year Lyceum), who competed in the Double Speech event and also received excellent scores.
