Four High School students from E. Mandoulides Schools participated in the Panhellenic School Competition “Hackathon SELMA 2025”, developing their own mobile app game titled “Mobile App – Quiz Game”.
Specifically, the students A. Vasileiou-Avgoustoglou (12th grade), E. Vasileiou-Avgoustoglou (10th grade), Ch. Boutari(10th grade), A. Safi (10th grade), through the creative use of technology, developed their own application on the theme “Children’s and Adolescents’ Rights as a Shield against Violence.
They presented their project during the Digital Education and Literacy Event on the proper use of technology by children and adolescents, which took place on Tuesday, 11 February at the University of Athens. The competition’s evaluation committee will announce the finalist teams who will be invited to present their completed projects at the Annual State-of-the-Art Conference on Adolescent Health 2025.
Through their original work, the students demonstrated that with the knowledge acquired from their Computer Science courses and by utilizing modern technology, they can collaborate constructively, develop a wide range of skills, and create projects that showcase their talents.
