High School students of E. Mandoulides Schools participated in the 15th International Mathematical Week, organized by the Central Macedonia Branch of the Hellenic Mathematical Society from Thursday, May 8 to Sunday, May 11, 2025 at the International Hellenic University (IHU) in Thermi.
The students presented the following projects:
- E. Giouvanopoulos (8th grade): Logarithmic and Other Derivatives and their Antiderivatives
- R. Maroulas, A. Sklavou, Ch. Chalkiotis (9th grade): Friendships through Statistics
- A. Nedeltzidis , A. Christoforidis (9th grade): Mathematics and Tennis
- M. Andra, Ch. – E. Douloudi (10th grade): The Sound of Mathematics
The students also attended other student presentations and a lecture by Mr. Stefanos Aretakis, a world-renowned Greek mathematician and Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Toronto St. George and in the Department of Computer and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Toronto Scarborough, entitled “Focus and Science”.
