2 of our students have been selected to participate in the Summer School for Primary, Middle, and High School, organized in Thessaloniki by the Hellenic Physics Society (E.E.F.). The Summer School, themed “Experimentation in Physics”, will take place from June 23 to June 26, 2025, at the 1st Model High School of Thessaloniki, “Manolis Andronikos.”
The selected students are E. Giovanopoulos (8th grade) and A. Papoutsis (7th grade), who received honors and achieved 1st and 4th place, respectively, in the 3rd phase of the 13th Panhellenic Physics Competition “Aristarchos.”
The aim of the Summer School is for students to observe and, above all, carry out physics experiments, those included in the school curriculum as well as others deemed essential by the E.E.F. To this end, some of Greece’s top “physics educators,” specialists in experimental teaching and the didactics of physics, have been invited to lead the program.
