The Mixed Music Ensemble “Ihochromata” (Orchestra – Choir) of Mandoulides Schools took part in the event
“In the Armchair with Efcharis: ‘Ι …  My Dad.’”

The event took place on Monday, June 16, 2025, at the Vassiliko Theatre. The choir was taught by Eleni Theodoridou, while the orchestra’s instruction, arrangements, and direction of the Mixed Ensemble were handled by Yiannis Polymeneris.

Psychologist Efcharis Panagopoulou guided the audience through a culturally therapeutic journey into the father–child relationship, conducting open psychotherapy sessions with her guests: Giorgos Kapoutzidis, Thodoris Papakostas, and Haris Varthakouris.

The journey was enriched with theatrical narration, music, and dance, forming what is known as Cultural Psychotherapy, a unique and innovative approach first presented in Thessaloniki this past April, embraced with great enthusiasm by its audience.

The event was organized by the Center for Science, Art and Family “SyZefxi” and the Postgraduate Program “Applications of Psychology in Health” of the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

The event aimed to support the STORY DADS program of the “SyZefxi” Center. Mandoulides Schools, by participating and opening the event, supported the vision for a Center for Art and Family in our city.
